The latest Viewpoint updates for nursing, midwifery and theatre professionals.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our latest Viewpoint survey. We were pleased to see a significant increase in the number of responses to our last survey and appreciate you taking time out of your day to give us your honest feedback.

Based on your most recent responses, we’d like to take you through some of the initiatives we have implemented and are still working on to provide you with the best possible support as you continue your career with Pulse.

Communication

We’re delighted to hear that you’re satisfied with our level of communication. However, we recognise that there are still areas where we need to improve, including our response times, keeping you up to date with new information, and ensuring you receive that information at the earliest possible opportunity.

To help tackle this, we’re delivering additional customer service training to our teams on the importance of acting promptly and keeping you updated with accurate information throughout your journey with Pulse. We’d also like to remind you that our information hub is updated regularly and is your go-to place for everything you need to know, from payment methods and pensions to revalidation and mental health support.

Pay rates

As the market stabilises post-COVID, demand is transitioning from off-framework to framework, and rates are returning to pre-COVID levels, with clients looking to reduce their staffing costs.

At Pulse, we’re able to offer shifts with higher rates than substantive roles with additional flexibility in both the type of work available and the choice of where and when you want to work.

From different trusts and settings to different areas of medicine or even different areas of the country, we’ve got something for everyone.
