We’d like to take this opportunity to share with you some of the changes and improvements we are making, thanks to your responses.
We want to ensure that your interactions with Pulse are seamless. We understand and appreciate how having more than one recruitment consultant in contact with you can be confusing.
As a result of your feedback, we recently restructured our teams to be specialty-led. This means that whether you’re looking for NHS or private work, you’ll have a single point of contact to support you with your bookings. Your dedicated consultant will be an expert in your speciality, ready to give you their full and undivided attention and support.
We have also launched a new and improved ‘welcome’ email. This will ensure that every healthcare professional has the information they need as soon as they begin their journey with us, better preparing them and delivering a consistent experience to everyone that joins Pulse.
Variety of shifts
We continue to take on board your feedback regarding our rates of pay and the opportunities we have available. Pulse are on all NHS and Welsh health board frameworks, meaning we can offer you shifts at every trust across England and Wales up to three months in advance, giving you guaranteed stability and an unrivalled volume of shifts on offer.
As announced in our last update, we recently launched our information hub which contains everything you need to know about working with Pulse; from getting started, your first shift, clinical and mental health support, through to training, revalidation and so much more.

As mentioned, we really do value your responses to our quarterly surveys. With that said, we’d like to highlight that our response rates have decreased recently, and we’d love for as many of you to complete them as possible.
As a reminder, our Viewpoint surveys are sent every three months to enable us to gauge whether the action we’re taking is improving your experience. It would mean a lot if you could complete our Viewpoint surveys every time you receive one. Your feedback is extremely valuable, and it really will make a difference to your experience with us.
