Charity and fundraising activities

At Pulse, we’re committed to making a difference in our community, giving back and changing lives for the better. Our commitment reflects our culture – and the way we want to do business.

What we do

Each year we ask our people to nominate the charities they would like to support, and we make these the focus of our fundraising efforts. Our teams are encouraged to support the causes they feel strongly about, and in order to make it easier than ever, each employee is given two days of paid charity leave to organise and take part in fundraising, community volunteering or local charity work.

We’re proud of the positive changes our people make, both through their work here at Pulse and in their charitable activities.

How we do it

Over the past two years we’ve raised over £14,000 for various charities that are close to our hearts, including The Florence Nightingale FoundationArchie’s Journey and Dementia UK. Our fundraising events included charity runs, bake sales, voluntary community work, a Vegas night and so much more.

We want to make charitable giving a way of life, so we offer the ‘Give as you earn’ payroll scheme, administered by the Charities Aid Foundation, which allows employees to make tax efficient donations.
