You said, we did

The latest Viewpoint updates for nursing, midwifery and theatre professionals.

Thank you to everyone who completed our first Viewpoint survey of 2023. We are so pleased to see your continued honesty, and willingness to give us your valuable comments and insights.

Based on your most recent responses, we’d like to take you through some of the initiatives we have implemented and are still working on, in order to provide you with the best possible support as you continue your career with Pulse.

Communication

Requirements before commencing work

We want to ensure that your recruitment journey is as smooth as possible. We acknowledge that the recruitment process can vary from client to client, and at times, can take a little longer than anticipated. Our clients have varying requirements for different roles which need to be completed before you begin work, and they can also vary depending on your individual circumstances.

For example, some of our roles may require specific additional client training, whilst others may require a DBS waiver or occupational health risk assessment to be completed. We know it can feel frustrating when these additional steps are required, so we will endeavour to communicate your specific role requirements up-front and will set clear expectations of timeframes to ensure you are kept up to date throughout the process.

We want to continue making improvements to our communication with you, so we can make sure you have the best experience throughout your entire career journey with us.

Who to contact?

It’s important that you can speak to the right person at the right time, so you can get the best help when you need it. That’s why we created our Candidate Information hub, where you can find a wealth of important and useful information, including our ‘Meet the Team’ section. This will help you understand who to contact within our teams for the different queries you have in future.

We also have our Get in touch page where you can request a call back, or you can use our interactive voice response (IVR) phone technology, which quickly and efficiently directs you to the relevant team on 0333 577 3410.

Improved joining process

We wanted to thank you for your honest feedback on the length of time it can take to join Pulse. As a result of your comments, we have improved our onboarding platform for new healthcare professionals, by reducing the number of steps and therefore the time it takes to join us. These platform updates will also ensure the process is much easier to navigate with clearer instructions for a smoother joining experience.

New referral process

We have taken your comments on board, where you expressed some frustrations at delays to receiving your referral fees. We need to fix this, and so we are very excited to announce that we’re in the final stages of developing our new referral process. This will make referring a friend and then receiving your deserved referral fee much easier and quicker. Due to be launched in May, the new process will offer a much-improved candidate referral experience, and we can’t wait to share further details with you soon.

Pay rates

As you may recall in our last update, we’re continuously working to secure you new roles that offer competitive pay as we know this is an area of concern you have fed back to us before. Rest assured, we negotiate escalated rates with clients wherever possible, and we are pleased to let you know that we have recently secured several new clients in the NHS and private sectors.

New opportunities throughout the UK are added to our website and ipoint on a weekly basis, covering a wide range of healthcare roles to suit different specialisms and varying lifestyles, many of which offer higher rates of pay.

Unlike other agencies we also offer same day payment, meaning your money is in your account faster.

Talk with your consultant to learn more about our new opportunities with escalated rates or visit the ipoint page on our website.

Reward and recognition

We recently held our 2022 Pulse Awards winners’ ceremony at the iconic Savoy Hotel London, and it was an unforgettable day celebrating the amazing and inspirational achievements of our winners. You can watch our Awards highlight video below.
