Paul started his career in healthcare recruitment in 2004, and now, as Managing Director, is an influential leader with vast experience of dealing with any type of challenge.

Paul is an understanding individual who supports a clear learning agenda which enables everyone to gain the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to succeed.

Charlie joined the business in 2024 as Operations Director of Pulse Doctors. He has worked in the recruitment industry for nearly 30 years, working within the UK and EMEA markets gaining broad experience across many specialisms within talent solutions. Charlie is now responsible for driving growth and implementing group strategy within the Pulse Doctors business.

Stephen has 15 years of healthcare experience, joining the business in 2008 as a recruitment consultant, and quickly progressing into management in 2012 as Regional Sales manager. With 7 years as operations director, a wealth of experience and knowledge of working with all national frameworks, meeting SLA agreements with all clients and managing attrition and recruitment solutions. Stephen is responsible for the division’s strategic direction and management of the Temporary and Permanent Sales Divisions including accountability for; the improvement of existing systems and policies, identifying improvement areas, and implementing systems to boost the company’s effectiveness.  Stephen is known for being approachable, and desire to help others. With an innovative approach, supporting with problem-solving, driving a clear vision with our clients with authenticity, and focus.

Michelle has over 30 years experience in the recruitment industry working at strategic level in Client Development & Operational Management across all sectors but started her career in Health & Social Care in January 2018.  Michelle joined Pulse in January 2021 as Client Development Director to create a robust CRM programme for all our NHS and Private clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, always having a clear vision and strategy to succeed so our clients come back to Pulse time after time. Michelle is totally committed to providing an outstanding service and will look to develop a solution that meets your objectives.

Alex started his journey with Acacium Group (Liquid Personnel) in February 2014 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and progressed to the role of Recruitment Business Manager. In July 2023, Alex transitioned to A&E Agency, now known as Pulse. Alex has a decade of recruitment expertise and embraces a hands-on approach to team development and actively engages with the challenges confronting clients and candidates. Alex’s aim is to foster a deep understanding within his recruitment team, enabling them to make a positive impact on the daily lives of all our clients and candidates.

Ryan has over 8 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, the last 6 and a half of those years have been committed to Acacium Group. Ryan has progressed from Recruitment Consultant to Divisional Manager so has a strong understanding of the business, and he is proud to drive an inclusive & collaborative team culture. Ryan believes his success is down to transparency, honesty, and strong communication with clients and colleagues.

Amber started as a payroll assistant in 2014 and has had multiple roles in the business which has lead to her most recent position as Operations Support Manager. Having been part of the business for 10 years and having such a wide variety of roles, Amber has a thorough understanding of the business and prides herself on always delivering excellent customer service, combined with improvements in operational excellence.

Emma joined Pulse in 2013 as a recruitment assistant and progressed to a senior recruitment consultant within the Doctors Acute division. In 2021, after working closely with doctors and clients for almost a decade, she moved into a content creation role supporting international and UK doctors through all stages of their careers.

Delivering the highest level of customer service is a core value for Emma; she takes pride in delivering with integrity. She describes her favourite part of the role as working with people from all over the world, both internally and externally, and learning more about their purpose and goals.
