Jake Aspinall
Divisional Clinical Lead
Jake has 20 years’ experience in nursing. He first joined Acacium Group in July 2019 as divisional clinical lead for nursing, where he leads the clinical nursing team. Jake brings extensive clinical experience and invaluable practice-based knowledge in a wide variety of specialisms, ranging from haematology/oncology, emergency department, critical care outreach, occupational health and site management.
Jake is passionate about providing the best quality healthcare workers and ensuring the highest standards of best practice are maintained.
Claire Murphy
Operations Director
Claire joined Pulse over 11 years ago as a contracts coordinator, having 15 years’ worth of experience in recruitment. She quickly progressed to regional director and is now responsible for managing the operations teams. Claire ensures that all nurses are given the opportunities to work in their preferred locations, offered the relevant training to keep them up to date and compliant, and that each and every one is fully supported throughout the recruitment process. She also assists her team to make sure that urgent client requests are responded to quickly, and that shifts are filled efficiently with the highest quality of healthcare professional.
Tina Stanton
Head of Resourcing & Compliance
Tina has over 20 years’ experience in recruitment, with the past 12 years being in the healthcare sector. She joined Acacium Group in November 2013 and spent her first five years in our managed services division, Bank Partners, where she led the recruitment and compliance teams for NHS bank contracts and supported the implementation of new contracts.
Tina joined Pulse in May 2019, where she now heads up our recruitment and compliance teams across the UK. Tina is passionate about providing the best quality nurses and healthcare workers into the public and private sectors, ensuring our recruitment and compliance processes are of the highest quality.
Sarah Chadwick
Sales Manager
Sarah joined Pulse in February 2008 as a booking coordinator for the theatres team, before moving to the private team in 2010. She began her current position as sales manager in 2018 where her role is to grow the client base within the private sector.
Her aim is to build and grow strong client relationships with a wide variety of clients, while working with the team to ensure that these relationships are maintained by providing the most suitable candidates to suit each clients’ individual requirements.
Natalie Spence
Senior Business Manager – NHS Acute
Natalie has 15 years’ worth of experience within the healthcare industry and is a specialist at developing new business (critical care and chemotherapy in particular). She began her career with Pulse in 2005 as a trainee recruitment consultant, and since then has progressed to become a senior business manager. Natalie’s role includes managing the south regional nursing acute and on-call teams, and she makes it her business to ensure that excellent customer service is delivered every time.
Kelly Branagh
Operations Manager – Regional Critical Care Specialities
Kelly joined Pulse in 2012 as recruitment consultant having previously worked in retail. She found the transition to her first office environment surprisingly easy, a fact she attributes to having an excellent mentor, as well as thriving in the active sales environment. Over her 8 years at Pulse she has progressed through the ranks to team leader, business manager and now senior business manager. Kelly is also the champion for Viewpoint, our experience management programme. She plays a vital role in driving Pulse to become a fully customer centric organisation.
Rebecca Henshaw
Senior Business Manager
Rebecca has over 16 years’ experience in the recruitment industry with the past 10 years being in the healthcare sector. She joined Pulse in May 2010 as a critical care consultant and since then has progressed to a business manager. She now manages the busy A&E North team. The A&E team look after candidates and clients across the North of England and Rebecca’s role ensures that the best possible service is always delivered to candidates and clients.
Natalie Barham
Senior Business Manager
Natalie has worked at Pulse for over 12 years and has previously worked within the recruitment industry in a non-healthcare sector. Natalie started her career as a resourcer and has progressed through the rankings to bookings bo-ordinator, recruitment consultant, senior recruitment consultant, principle consultant, team leader and most recently senior business manager. She likes to give the best customer service possible to ensure she builds strong client and candidate relationships.
Laura Mason
Resourcing Manager
Laura joined Pulse in 2009, beginning her career working with the AHP division in compliance and bookings roles, before moving to the nursing team. She has progressed from being the sole resourcer in our Manchester branch, to building and managing teams of resourcers in both our branches.
Laura is passionate about recruiting the highest quality nurses and ensuring that our recruitment processes exceed the expectations of our candidates clients.
