Pulse is seeking a Counselling or Forensic Psychologist to cover a patch of Residential Homes near Stoke-on-Trent. You will be providing care to young people with complex emotional, social and educational needs. 

The successful candidate will be:
• Providing clinical knowledge to teams of staff who look after the children
• Be involved in training and development of staff
• Providing specialist expertise for children experiencing trauma and attachment based difficulties
• Presenting and sharing professional information and knowledge with professional colleagues
• Manage the caseload and meet deadlines

The successful candidate will:
• Be a registered practitioner psychologist recognised by the HCPC
• Post graduate doctoral level training in either Clinical Psychology as accredited by the BPS (including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology)
• Be trained in clinical supervision
• Has had previous experience in working as a qualified psychologist
