Description

We are seeking counselling professionals to provide immediate emotional support and guidance to callers on our 24/7 helpline through digital counselling roles available through our well-established private client. This role involves completing clinical assessments, providing risk assessments, and working in line with the BACP code of ethics to ensure the highest level of service and support is provided. The role must be done from the Manchester office site, no elements of remote working.  

Role: Digital Counsellor

Contract: Permanent

Band: 6

Hours: 22.5 – 37.5

Location: Manchester

Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 DOE

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and effective telephone counselling
  • Thorough understanding of Health Assured products
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and presenting issues
  • Conducting full and robust clinical assessments
  • Managing risk effectively
  • Achieving individual and team goals
  • Providing excellent customer service

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum diploma level 4 in Counselling & minimum of 150 counselling hours
  • Membership of the BACP or equivalent
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • High level of organizational ability and multitasking
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be motivated by targets
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Relevant experience of working with safeguarding concerns and suicidal ideation
