Pulse has a client who is looking for a Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
The Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist will be within the pain management service. They will be responsible for prioritising, planning, developing and delivering the provision of clinical psychology within the service and will provide line management and clinical supervision to other clinical psychologists and colleagues as required. The post holder will offer placements for doctoral trainee in clinical psychology and provide a lead role in teaching and training within the pain management team and wider healthcare community. Audit, research and development activities will be a major component of this post, to promote the delivery of high quality effective services.
It is essential the candidate has a postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the BPS. The should have post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised model/area of psychological practice.
