Pulse is now seeking a Band 8a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, to join the Diabetes team at our clients well-established NHS Trust in West Yorkshire. 

The Clinical Psychologist in post will be responsible for both holding a small clinical caseload of patients with diabetes, as well as offering training to other non-psychological professionals and advising in best psychological care. The post-holder will assist medical and nursing professionals by introducing them to ACT, health behaviour changes as well as emotional interviewing. 

The clinical caseload will consist of patients both recently diagnosed with diabetes, as well as those who are struggling to come to terms with their diagnosis. The Psychologist will ideally have experience working with non-psychological professionals within a health setting before, as well as with ACT and PTSD Frameworks.
