Our client is currently seeking a band 8a psychologist who has previous experience of working within learning disabilities, to join a private practice based in Birmingham. The role is available to start as soon as possible, offering 2.5 days per week.

You will be responsible for providing a specialist psychology service across the service; helping to understand, prevent and/or ameliorate psychological distress to improve mental health and well being. This role will be working as part of an MDT of clinicians and support staff.

To be considered for this role you must: 
• Have completed the relevant degree in psychology 
• Have professional body registration – HCPC 
• Experience of working with people with autism  
• Experience of working with people with a learning disability
