As the leading agency within Psychological Therapies recruitment, Pulse are currently working with a leading private mental health care provider to recruit a permanent Clinical Psychologist to be based in one of their services in South London. The service is well serviced by public transport including train, tube and bus.
You will need to be a HCPC registered Band 7 Clinical Psychologist with previous experience working within an adult’s mental health team. This role will be based within the low secure service run by this client.
Duties of this role will involve providing assessments and interventions to patients based in an inpatient rehab setting, as well as being able to advise other professionals on the required care for the patient. You will also be expected to be involved in service development and any audit and policy review. As a clinical psychologist in service there will be a requirement for you to provide clinical supervision to others within the team including trainee psychologists, assistant psychologists and other therapy staff.
In order to be consider for this role you must be:
- HCPC registered
- Previous experience in an Adult mental health team
- Post-grad doctorate level training in clinical or forensic psychology
- Proven track record working on inpatient wards
- Able to work within an MDT framework
