Pulse  are currently recruiting for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to be based in the West Midlands.

You will be working within a busy NHS IAPT department for a period of 3 months initially working full time hours. Your main duties will include providing high volume, low intensity interventions for clients with mild to moderate depression, based on a cognitive behavioural model.  You will undertake patient-centred interviews, to help identifying areas where the person wishes to see change.  You will also make an assessment of risk to self and others and provide assisted self-help.

Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with a similar placement within IAPT. It is also essential for the candidate to have completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Low Intensity IAPT.
