Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (Band 5 or Band 6)

Location: Norwich

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday – Friday (occasional Saturday)

Salary: Band 5: £27,055 – £32,934 per year – Band 6: £33,706 – £40,588 per year + *£3000 Welcome Bonus*

Role Overview:

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, as a Theatre Practitioner you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Caring for patients undergoing procedures
  • Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
  • Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
  • Acting as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities.
  • Working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care.

Requirements:

  • ODP or NMC registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
  • You will be working on rotation in different specialities, flexibility is required
