Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Specialty Training Registrar (StR) Lower in Adult Psychiatry to join a reputable healthcare facility in Norwich. As an integral part of the psychiatric team, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, participate in training programs, and play a key role in shaping the future of mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients.
  2. Provide clinical leadership and contribute to the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
  3. Participate in the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures.
  4. Engage in continuous professional development and training activities to enhance clinical skills.
  5. Contribute to teaching and training programs for junior medical staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  7. Actively participate in clinical audits and research activities to contribute to evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

  1. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligibility to work in the UK.
  2. Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) or equivalent experience.
  3. Relevant experience in Adult Psychiatry, preferably at the StR level.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
