Staff Nurse (Band 5) – Residential Home
Permanent, Full time
Grade: Band 5
Salary: £34,876 – £40,434 BAR £41,544 – £44,981 per annum
Location: Guernsey
Pulse is delighted to work in partnership with one of the largest hospitals in Guernsey to recruit a committed and driven Staff Nurse to join their Residential Care Home ward. The successful candidate will provide individualised care to service users and assist with activities of daily living.

Skills and experience
- Current registration with NMC
- Good understanding of English language
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- Previous experience working with older people is desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsibility and management of the home
- Provide a warm, caring and safe home environment for residents
- Assist new starts and monitor their induction training
- Implement, assess and evaluate care for all residents
- Liaise with other members of multi-disciplinary team
- Deliver evidence based best practice
