Pulse have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Grantham, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a  Speech & Language Therapist, you will be working across two adult residential homes and to cover maternity leave for two schools in Grantham and Stretton. Set in beautiful grounds delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans to adults and children with autism and learning difficulties.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech & Language Therapist:

  • Manage your own caseload utilising a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions
  • Contribute to staff training and consultation
  • Support the multi-disciplinary team
  • Work across  two adult residential homes in Grantham and cover maternity leave for two schools in the Stretton area

What we are looking for in a Speech & Language Therapist:

  • BSc in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working with adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
