Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our esteemed team, focusing on providing expert psychiatric care for children and adolescents within the CAMHS setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for children and adolescents within the CAMHS framework.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored interventions.
  3. Provide psychiatric support and guidance within multidisciplinary CAMHS teams, collaborating with psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Contribute to the development and evaluation of mental health programs and services for children and adolescents.
  5. Offer consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders involved in the care of young individuals within the CAMHS setting.
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Medical degree with specialization in Psychiatry and current registration with the relevant professional body.
  2. Specialty Doctor-level experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, demonstrating a strong track record in the field.
  3. Specific expertise and experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
  4. Proven ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary CAMHS team.
  6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and CAMHS.
