Position Overview: As a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will be a crucial member of our dynamic mental health team, providing high-quality care to adults with diverse mental health needs. This role involves assessments, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions, contributing to the overall mental wellness of the individuals in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments for adults and formulating individualized treatment plans.
  2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care for adults.
  3. Leading and participating in the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions, including medication management.
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
  5. Contributing to risk assessments and developing management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of adults.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  2. Previous experience as a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry or equivalent.
  3. Demonstrated competence in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult mental health conditions.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in Adult Psychiatry.
