Position: Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry
Location: Wickford
Job Description: Pulse Mental Health is currently seeking accomplished Specialty Doctors to join our esteemed network of healthcare professionals in the field of Adult Psychiatry. As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for adult patients with mental health disorders.
- Provide expert psychiatric interventions, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, to support patients on their journey to recovery.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure integrated and holistic care delivery.
- Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and clinical meetings to review patient progress, discuss treatment strategies, and coordinate care effectively.
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, offering guidance and support in line with best practice and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and license to practice in the UK.
- MRCPsych qualification or equivalent, demonstrating specialist training and expertise in Adult Psychiatry.
- Proven experience working as a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, with a strong clinical background and understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and upholding ethical standards and professional integrity.
