Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor with expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Psychiatry for a rewarding opportunity in Lincolnshire. As a Specialty Doctor in CAMHS, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents, making a positive impact on their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Expertise: Utilize your specialized knowledge in CAMHS Psychiatry to assess, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
  3. Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients, considering their unique needs and circumstances.
  4. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and well-being of young individuals under your care.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards and guidelines.
  6. Team Collaboration: Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAMHS services.

Requirements:

  1. Medical Qualification: Possession of a valid medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  2. Registration: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in CAMHS Psychiatry, demonstrating clinical excellence and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
