An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics to join our dedicated paediatric team in Kent.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high quality care to children and their families.

As a Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics, your primary responsibilities will involve delivering expert clinical care to paediatric patients while upholding a consistently high standard of healthcare. Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team, the healthcare professional actively participates in developing and implementing effective treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive and patient centric approach.

Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of paediatric services, the role includes active participation in audits and quality improvement initiatives, emphasising a commitment to continuous refinement of healthcare practices. Additionally, the healthcare professional is responsible for supervising and supporting junior medical staff, facilitating their professional development within the paediatric care context. Ensuring strict adherence to relevant guidelines and protocols is paramount to guaranteeing the delivery of safe and effective care in accordance with established standards.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in paediatrics.
  • Previous experience working within the NHS is essential.
  • Full MRCPCH qualification or equivalent is desirable.
