Description

Pulse Nursing are looking for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor in Manchester. We are looking for a resilient and compassionate to work under the guidance of the Senior OH Advisor and be responsible for OH Screening Nurses. The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive OH nursing service for the police force.

Applicants must be Registered Nurses, with current fitness to practice and identified on part 3 of the NMC register, whilst holing appropriate a recordable Occupational Health qualification. Knowledge and experience of OH within policing and/or the public sector is also essential. Blue Light experience is preferred.

About the Role

To participate in the provision of evidence based, efficient, high quality and value adding Occupational Health (OH) services that meet the health needs/risks of all staff.

Specialising in the triage and delivery of case management, clinical supervision/delivery of fitness for task medicals and health surveillance programs with other practitioners.

Managing the central co-ordination of cases and providing the appropriate challenge to keep people in work.

A salary ranging from £35,392 to £42,618, plus a £4,277 market supplement on top.

Shift Pattern

It is a full time position, working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.

Requirements for this role

    • Recorded on Part 3 of the NMC register
    • Current NMC and fitness to practice
    • Hold an Occupational Health qualification at diploma/degree level and above.
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
    • Willing to travel and work at GMP locations as and when required. (Having a UK license is preferred but not essential).
