Exciting Opportunity for a Consultant in Geriatrics in Bolton!

Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Geriatrician to join our team for a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension starting from the 3rd of June 2024. This position offers a full rota schedule Monday to Friday providing comprehensive geriatric care to patients in D2 an Older Person’s Assessment unit and B2.

As a Consultant in Geriatrics, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing the care of elderly patients with complex medical needs. This includes conducting ward rounds in D2 and occasionally in the Emergency Department as part of the frailty team, so flexibility is essential. You will also provide expert clinical guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Requirements:

  • General Medicine Council Registration
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
  • Relevant experience as a Consultant in Care of the Elderly
