Our client is committed to providing exceptional mental health care, and we are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to their multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in Adult Inpatient services, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adults with diverse mental health needs. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting psychiatric assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
  2. Providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to adult inpatients.
  3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and therapists.
  4. Participating in clinical reviews, case conferences, and team meetings.
  5. Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  2. CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry.
  3. Substantial experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Adult Inpatient services.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Commitment to continuous professional development.
