Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:

    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for adults presenting with ADHD symptoms.
    • Utilize evidence-based diagnostic tools to assess and diagnose ADHD in adult patients.
  2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:

    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the specific needs of adult patients with ADHD.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care.
  3. Medication Management:

    • Prescribe and manage medication regimens for adult ADHD patients in accordance with best practices and guidelines.
    • Monitor and adjust medications as necessary, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Patient Counseling:

    • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about ADHD, its impact, and available treatment options.
    • Offer counseling and support to help patients cope with the challenges associated with adult ADHD.
  5. Remote Consultations:

    • Conduct remote consultations using secure and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
    • Ensure effective communication and maintain a high standard of care during virtual interactions.
  6. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Medical Qualifications:

    • Medical degree and completion of psychiatry residency.
    • Board certification in psychiatry with a focus on adult ADHD.
  2. Licensing:

    • Valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
  3. Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in adult ADHD.
    • Familiarity with remote healthcare delivery is advantageous.
  4. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable conducting virtual consultations.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  6. Technology Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital health tools.
