Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Consultant in Adult Psychiatry with specific expertise in ADHD to play a pivotal role in our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care, with a focus on adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for adults with ADHD.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored interventions.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Contribute to the development and evaluation of mental health programs and services related to ADHD.
  5. Offer consultation and support to family members, caregivers, and other stakeholders involved in the care of individuals with ADHD.
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Medical degree with specialization in Psychiatry and current registration with the relevant professional body.
  2. Consultant-level experience in Adult Psychiatry, demonstrating a strong track record in the field.
  3. Specific expertise and experience in diagnosing and treating ADHD in adults.
  4. Proven ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals with ADHD.
  5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in Adult Psychiatry and ADHD.
