Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join a dynamic Community Mental Health Team in Thurrock, Essex. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the community and contribute to the well-being of individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to adult patients within the community.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Offer leadership and support to junior medical staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and clinical reviews to enhance patient care.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives, working towards delivering high-quality mental health services.
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
- AC/S12 essential
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in General Adult Psychiatry within a community setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
