Pulse are working with a national community pharmacy business at an exciting time to join as they’ve put a lot of investment to grow the business and more focus on the culture, career pathway and getting it right for the pharmacists. This role is based in the Norwich store which dispenses over 5,000 valued items on average to the local community each month.

About the role:

As a Community Pharmacist Manager, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities as a Community Pharmacist Manager:

  •  Dispense medicines and over-the-counter remedies, giving healthcare advice to customers including providing consultations and diabetes checks 
  •  Develop your Pharmacy team making sure you implement and share best practice
  •  Emphasise the importance of clinical governance and investing time in training your team
  • Proactively develop Pharmacy sales, services and profitability in a cost effective and safe manner, adhering to legal, ethical and company requirements/ systems
  • Focus on day to day operations, as well as the medium term operation, regularly conducting audits to maintain high standards

What we are looking for in a Community Pharmacist Manager:

  • GPHC registered
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
