Description

Pulse are currently recruiting to a locum role for a Psychologist to work in a private service within the eating disorder and acute wards. The role will involve the development, delivery and evaluation of psychological treatment using a person-centred approach to assist the patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning. The job requires enhanced organisational skills and the ability to work independently and pro-actively.  Experience of Eating Disorders is essential and experience of group facilitation is also required.

As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.

The successful candidate will be involved in the evaluation and development of key aspects of the service.

This is a part time role for 11 hours a week paying up to £13,200-£16,133 pa (FTE £45,000-£55,000).

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a relevant doctorate level qualification
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have previous eating disorders experience
  • Be a great listener with strong communication skills
  • Be both patient and analytical
