Position Overview: As a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist specializing in Adult Mental Health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions for adults experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for adults with mental health disorders.
  • Developing and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to contribute to multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Providing consultation and supervision to junior staff as required.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Extensive experience as a Clinical Psychologist, with a focus on Adult Mental Health.
  • Experience working at a Band 8a level or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological interventions for adult mental health conditions.
