Are you a dedicated Physiotherapist with expertise in frailty management, looking to take the next step in your career?

As a leading healthcare recruitment agency, Pulse is currently seeking a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join an esteemed NHS service in London, specialising in the care of frail patients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare environment. The role is available to start ASAP, working full time for an ongoing period. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert assessment, treatment, and management of frail patients within the NHS service setting, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Utilize advanced clinical reasoning skills to develop and implement tailored physiotherapy intervention plans aimed at optimizing functional independence and quality of life.
  • Conduct comprehensive frailty assessments, including mobility, balance, strength, and falls risk assessments, utilizing standardized outcome measures.
  • Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programs and exercise prescriptions to address frailty-related impairments and promote recovery and resilience.
  • Provide specialist advice, education, and support to patients, families, and carers to facilitate self-management and long-term condition management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC.
  • Substantial post-registration experience working as a Physiotherapist, within the NHS or similar healthcare settings.
  • Experience of working with elderly/fail patients, autonomous working, understanding of comprehensive geriatric assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and engage patients in their care.
  • Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice, with a proactive approach to learning and skill enhancement.
  • Holding a UK drivers license is desirable
