Are you an empathetic CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a Band 7 CAMHS ADHD Assessor/Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, on a locum contract. This full-time post is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service, assessing, diagnosing, and managing ADHD and associated conditions. This includes an expectation of independent prescribing as part of a clinical management plan.

You will be able to work independently and be an influential team member, contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to clinical management, working with colleagues from services within health and the broader partnership, including schools and the voluntary sector.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Managing a caseload
  • Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
  • Experience with a wide range of mental health presentations
  • Can work well independently and as part of the team
