Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) Therapist to join a dynamic team in London. As a Band 7/8a DBT Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting comprehensive DBT assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  2. Providing individual and group therapy sessions using DBT principles and techniques.
  3. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of DBT interventions and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  6. Providing consultation and training to other healthcare professionals on DBT principles and practices.
  7. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in DBT and incorporating evidence-based practices into clinical work.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Qualified as a Band 7/8a DBT Therapist.
  2. Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., BABCP, BACP, HCPC).
  3. Extensive experience in delivering DBT within a mental health setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of mental health issues and evidence-based interventions.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Commitment to continuous professional development.
