Pulse are currently looking for a HCPC registered Band 7/8a applied or Clinical Psychologist to join our fantastic NHS client’s older adults support team in Malton, Yorkshire. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, on a full-time or part-time basis. As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.

The post would involve providing specialist neuropsychological input to the Memory Assessment Service, carrying out assessments and diagnostic feedback and making important contribution to the leadership cell. The other half of the post would be spent working with the Scarborough MHSOP CMHT providing psychological formulation and interventions, taking role in collaborative/collective leadership and supporting staff through training, consultation, service evaluation, supervision and staff wellbeing.

To be considered for this role the psychologist must:

  • Have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Hold a doctorate level qualification in Psychology (Clinical)
  • Have experience working with older adults
  • Be a great listener with strong communication skills
  • Be empathetic, observant and independent.
