Are you a determined and caring Clinical Psychologist with forensic experience?
A Band 7/8a clinical/counselling psychologist is needed in an NHS in Probation Offender Personality Disorder service which is based in Chelmsford, Essex. The role is available to start ASAP, offering full-time hours per week with the placement due to end in June 2024. The role is mainly remote however the successful psychologist will be required to visit the Chelmsford site every so often.
The role focuses on working as a team on the development and maintenance of a psychologically informed workforce across the probation service and it involves a considerable amount of teaching, formulation sharing, reflective group facilitation and joint case management. The post also involves direct input into the service user’s care through tailored assessment and intervention. Applying candidate should have previous experience within a similar setting.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a relevant qualification at the doctorate level
- Be HCPC Registered
- Have experience working within a similar setting
- Have strong communication and listening skills
