Are you a empathetic Physiotherapist with a keen interest in Elderly and Critical care? 

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our fantastic NHS client’s team based in Croydon, Surrey. This vacancy is available for the successful therapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for a ongoing period.

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, the post holder will be responsible for providing specialised physiotherapy services to patients. Your expertise will contribute to the assessment and treatment of patients. 

Skills and experience needed:

  • Previous experience within Elderly/Critical settings
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Physiotherapist
  • HCPC registration
  • Evidence of working with different patient groups
  • Experience of working with patients and carers

Duties will include:

  •      To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence based principles within Critical Care and Medicine, Orthopaedics and Surgery and Care of the                Elderly
    ·    To work as an autonomous practitioner and to provide specialist assessments and treatments to clients, and maintain records in line with Trust and professional standards
    ·    To work as an effective team member and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders including patients, family/carers and the MDT
    ·    To provide leadership, training and education to junior staff, students and assistants, and to provide supervision and 121’s with junior staff and assistants
    ·    To deputise for the clinical lead in the absence
    ·    To be highly organised and be able to prioritise effectively and be able to work in a busy environment and under pressure
