Job Overview:

Pulse, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist specializing in Community Rehab for a rewarding full-time position in Somerset. The successful candidate will join a dynamic healthcare team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional rehabilitation services within the community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Treatment:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and functional abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote optimal recovery.
  2. Community Rehabilitation:

    • Deliver physiotherapy services in various community settings, including patients’ homes.
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
    • Facilitate patient independence and community reintegration through effective rehabilitation strategies.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
    • Prepare clear and concise progress reports, contributing to effective communication within the healthcare team.
  4. Education and Support:

    • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies.
    • Provide guidance and support to promote patient understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Stay informed about current trends and advancements in physiotherapy practice.
    • Participate in relevant training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
  2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  3. Previous experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist, preferably in a community rehabilitation setting.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  6. Commitment to continuous professional development.
