Band 6 Community Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge?

With a focus on excellence, we strive to match talented professionals with fulfilling roles that make a real difference in people’s lives. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Community Physiotherapist to join our NHS client’s team serving the Basingstoke and neighbouring area. As a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals within the community who are requiring Physiotherapy support. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. The role is available on a 30 hour week, and is available to start ASAP for an ongoing period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for individuals with mental health conditions in community settings.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life for clients.
  • Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with professional and organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist in community settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for travel between community locations.
