Join Pulse Mental Health as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Community Rehabilitation in London!

Are you a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a passion for community rehabilitation? Pulse Mental Health is seeking skilled professionals like you to join our esteemed team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the community and support individuals in their rehabilitation journey.

Position Details:

  • Role: Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Community Rehabilitation
  • Location: London

Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for an allocated caseload, delegating duties when appropriate but maintaining overall responsibility for patient caseload.
    To be competent in undertaking all stages of the Occupational Therapy process with  
    patients referred for community and falls rehabilitation
  • To deliver an individual Occupational Therapy treatment programme based on sound clinical reasoning and utilising research and evidence-based practice.  This may include functional retraining, group work, therapeutic handling, patient and carer education, management of physical, cognitive and behavioural impairments.
  • To formulate client centered goals/objectives with patients/carers/relatives and other health professionals and continually reassess patients to evaluate progress, and alter treatment programmes if required.  

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in community rehabilitation.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
