Description

We our currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client’s service in London. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with community experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to live independently and enhance their quality of life. This role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an initial period of 3 months. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients in the community.
  • Providing expert advice and support to clients, their families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions to promote functional independence and well-being.
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a community care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
