Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering specialized mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while advancing your career in mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
o Going out and completing assessment, young people experience needed
o Experience of working in the community
o CAMMHS experience would be essential
o NHS experience would be a bonus
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Mental Health Practitioner with relevant professional registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
- Substantial experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is essential.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.
