Position Overview:

 

As a Remote CBT Therapist at Band 6, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to individuals, helping them overcome challenges and improve their mental well-being. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, delivering crucial mental health services remotely.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Conduct remote assessments and formulate effective treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have the following:

 

  • A postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  
  • Full BABCP accreditation  
  • Completed LTC training 
  • Extensive Mental Health experience  
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients  
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone) 
  • An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role  
  • Be empathetic and understanding
