Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for community mental health? Pulse Mental Health, a leading recruitment agency specializing in mental health professionals, is actively seeking a skilled Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact in community settings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the occupational needs of individuals in community settings.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their mental health and well-being goals.
  3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, and healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
  4. Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance clients’ daily living skills and independence.
  5. Participate in care planning and reviews, ensuring that interventions align with the evolving needs of clients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to professional standards and data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration and Band 5/6 experience (HCPC) 
  2. Proven experience working in community mental health settings.
  3. Strong assessment and analytical skills to tailor interventions to individual client needs.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
  5. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
