Are you a dedicated and experienced A&E Nurse looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in emergency healthcare? We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team. We have work in the Durham Area with rates from £17.50 PH to £33.22 per hour.
As an A&E Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in our fast-paced Emergency Department. Your expertise in emergency nursing, triage, and patient assessment will be invaluable in delivering timely and effective treatment to patients in their time of need.
A&E Nurse responsibilities includes:
- Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
- Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
- Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
- Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse role Requirements:
- NMC Registration 6 months
- 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months- able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health for full EPP and Updated CV.
- Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.
