Upon reviewing the latest responses, here’s how we continue to further enhance our services and support your career journey.

Information hub

As you may recall from our last update, work on our brand-new information hub is underway, and we’re excited to confirm that the launch is due to take place later this quarter. The hub will be the central location for everything you need to know about working with Pulse and has been designed to provide a wealth of information across a diverse range of topics in a concise and accessible forum to benefit you.

Currently in the final content development stages, the hub will be launched in two phases, covering everything you need to know on the following:

  • Your onboarding
  • Your pay
  • Your first week
  • Your continued support

This valuable online resource will include payroll and pension information, what to expect of your first day in a new placement, mental health and wellbeing support and advice, details of our Viewpoint surveys, and much more.

Live vacancies

Our team has recently completed a full review of our online vacancy management and advertising of roles. We have now improved the live vacancy listing accuracy, investing more maintenance and resources to ensure jobs are always up to date. Now you can be confident that all live roles advertised online are still available. Our improved vacancy listing provides the widest possible career opportunities to help you find your next perfect role more efficiently.

New digital solutions

As promised in previous updates, we’ve been busy working hard behind the scenes on digital solutions to enhance your compliance, onboarding, and payroll experiences. We know how important efficiency, accessibility and convenience throughout these key stages are. As such we are delighted to bring you some key developments in these areas:

Onboarding portal – now live

We’re incredibly excited that our new onboarding portal is now live, significantly reducing the length of time it takes new applicants to complete our onboarding documentation when joining Pulse. The portal will:

  • Make the process quicker and easier to understand with step-by-step guides offering more information and help throughout.
  • Enable all future applicants to complete each stage in one visit or save their progress and return to finish at a more convenient date.
  • Provide transparency so that all compliance activities can be completed online, with live status progress updates available so applicants know exactly what is still required.


ipoint – our e-timesheet app

Our brand-new digital timesheet solution, ipoint, will be implemented imminently for those working in a non-direct engagement placement. There have been some slight delays due to testing from our tech team but rest assured; we are working hard to make sure the app is seamless, and it will be with you very soon.

As a reminder, ipoint will give you greater control and a more efficient payroll service, meaning you’ll be able to:

  • Submit hours worked while on the move.
  • Receive your pay faster, as digital timesheets are automatically added to the payroll queue.
  • Reduce the number of handwritten and calculation errors.
  • Provide you with real-time updates.
  • Enable online or email timesheet approval.
  • Ensure we’re doing what we can to protect the environment, with no need for a paper version.
