You said, we did

The latest Viewpoint updates for Psychological Therapies.

We were so pleased to see more of you participate in our latest Viewpoint survey and to receive our highest-ever satisfaction rate of 88%; this fantastic result is a testament to your continued feedback throughout 2022 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for sharing your honest and insightful opinions with us.

Based on your latest responses, here are some of the initiatives we have been, and continue to work on so we can continue to support your career in 2023 in the best possible way.

Reward & recognition

Pulse Awards

Thank you to everyone for your participation in our first-ever Pulse Awards. We received over 750 nominations and 8000 votes, surpassing our expectations. We were blown away reading through all the nominations and are proud to work with such inspirational healthcare professionals daily. Next up, we have our award winners ceremony on the 10th of February at The Savoy Hotel in London, and we can’t wait to celebrate.

As always, we remain committed to rewarding and recognising your hard work and compassionate care. We continue to run our monthly healthcare hero awards, where we announce up to three winners over on our social media channels each month, and send out a token of our appreciation in the post.

Communication

Working via direct engagement

We’re improving the way we provide information on direct engagement. To date, we have built ‘how-to’ guides and FAQs for 10 of our most used direct engagement portals on our website, so you have everything you need at your fingertips.

Take me to direct engagement ‘how-to’ guides

We have also created a placement booking confirmation email templates by portal, which are due for launch in February. This means that you’ll have all the information you need at the point of booking within your confirmation email. Behind the scenes, we’ve started working on an action plan to engage with our clients to see how we can transform working via direct engagement for all parties. We anticipate that this will take some time but wanted to share this information with you.

Consultant leaver process

If a recruitment consultant leaves Pulse, we reassign their healthcare professionals to another consultant. Since the departure of a couple of recent consultants, this process has not been as smooth as we’d have hoped, and it was flagged in our latest survey that some of you didn’t know who to contact for support. We’re reviewing how this works currently, but we would also like to remind you that our fantastic candidate care team are always on hand to help you with anything, should you need it.

Variety of opportunities

Live vacancies and vacancy matching

We are looking at our database and where we store vacancies and worker details to see how we can better utilise the system to match you to suitable jobs. We will be able to quickly identify suitable roles based on your experience and specialist areas. This will include ensuring experience, specialties, grades, and bands are accounted for to enable more efficient and automatic matching. Considering the volume of jobs we receive, this means you will hear about the roles that match your requirements much sooner.

Recommend a friend process

We’re close to identifying a solution that will transform our referral process, so referring a friend and getting paid your bonus becomes much easier. This project will take a couple of months to implement, but we are excited about this and hope to be able to give you an update with timescales in our next Viewpoint communication.

Once again, we thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to give us your feedback. We look forward to reading your responses in our next survey.
