Are you an experience Paediatric High Dependency Unit nurse (HDU), looking for an ongoing line of work or block booking?

Pulse Nursing are seeking dedicated Paediatric high dependency nurses for a line of work in Birmingham for our NHS client.  You’ll be joining an established team in high dependency and working off your availability, you’ll be working Long days and/or nights.  You’ll also benefit from being able to block book your shifts in advance and develop your skills in a rewarding and supportive environment.  


Essential Skills:

  • Assess, observe and report on the condition of patients efficiently.   Ensure patients receive high-quality nursing care. Communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team and provide compassionate care to patients and family members. Be able to manage total patient care independently and demonstrate excellent critical care nursing skills. 

Intensive care nurses /high dependency nurses are required to have:

  • Twelve months recent experience working in Paediatric HDU
  • Current NMC registration
  • References covering the last three years’ employment.
  • Satisfactory DBS
  • Evidence of occupational health immunisations or willing to provide evidence
