Practice /Clinic Nurse

Central London

£33,000 + Depending on experience

Full time, Permanent 

Are you a passionate nurse now looking to move away from the acute hospital setting? Do you have a keen interest in developing a career within a outpatients/clinic setting, alongside an employer offering full training.

Pulse is seeking a Registered nurse (with current NMC) to work alongside a specialist dermatology/cosmetic clinic in Central London. This would be to work Monday – Friday, within an outpatient/clinic setting.

Nurses will be training and become competent in the below:

  • IPL treatments
  • platelet rich plasma (PRP)
  • Micro needling
  • Peels
  • High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)
  • Radio Frequency Microneedling (RFMN)
  • Pen microneedling
  • Vascular radiofrequency
  • Mesotherapy

As part of the role, the nurse will be assisting the Dr with Botox and fillers.

This is a very busy clinic across 2 floors and requires a nurse with the ability to multitask and be enthusiastic to learn.  In joining this knowledgeable team as practice nurse, you will take joint responsibility for all aspects of the clinic, including nursing duties (chaperoning, assisting with procedures, wound care & dressings, sending & receiving histology etc), patient liaison, appointments & assistance with administration of the practice (daily running of clinics including pulling & filing of notes & results).

Once six months probation has been successfully completed, you will be eligible for consideration to receive 5% commission on these treatments.

You will be working in a busy, fun and friendly environment alongside one other nurse and two healthcare assistants, one PA and two secretaries. For this highly varied, rewarding and responsible role, in a practice which ranges from skin cancer and eczema to lasers and cosmetic injections.

You would need to have a “can do” attitude and a flexible personality as well as reasonable computer skills and the ability to multitask.
