Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to gain valuable experience and contribute to the provision of high-quality psychiatric care for adults.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment under supervision, focusing on adult patients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular patient reviews and collaborate with senior clinicians to monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in Adult Psychiatry.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration.
  • Enrollment in or completion of Core Training in Psychiatry.
  • Strong interest in Adult Psychiatry and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
